Reflection is basically mirroring. Let's reflect together!
Play with the GeoGebra square below, following the instructions for line reflection:
1. Find the coordinates of all corners
2. Count how far the point is from the x-axis/y-axis
3. Mark a new point on the opposite side of the x-axis, the same distance away
4. Connect the points
GeoGebra: Reflect the following square first with the x-axis, then the y-axis.
2. Reflection is basically mirroring. In our daily lives, there are many examples of reflection, including mirrors, shiny glass, water surfaces, and even polished metal objects that show a reversed image.
